Fundraising and Sponsorship
A reunion like this is an expensive venture. The various events all
require a great deal of up-front planning and in many cases, some
up front cash. We want to make this as inexpensive as possible for
the alumni, so we need to work on raising funds and sponsors.
We could use your help and your contacts!
Do you own a business that would be willing to sponsor a component
of the reunion? Do you know someone who does? This would be our most
likely source of revenues for the reunion. Sponsors will receive onsite
signage, media coverage, exposure to the local Fisher Park community,
and of course the gratitude of as many as 5,000 Fisher Park alumni
and their extended families. Targeted use of your marketing dollars!

Are you the person we are looking for? We are looking for someone
to head the Fundraising and Sponsorship committee, and take charge
of raising funds for the reunion. If you are this person, or if you
are willing to help, contact us today.
What are we using the funds for?: 100% of the funds raised will
go towards paying for the events, logistics, and up-front costs required
in the planning of the reunion. This is a not-for-profit event run
by alumni and volunteers. Our costs include:
- Rental fees: From the rental of the school, to PA systems,
tents, barricades, chairs and tables, we have a lot of equipment
to rent to make this a fun event.
- Services: Security, waste removal, food and beverage
services, set up and tear down of the tent and chairs - we don't
want alumni doing this, we want to have fun! So we want to hire
people to do this for us.
- Food and beverages: In many cases, we need to pay up
front for food and drink, at the very least deposits, in order
to have these services at the reunion.
- Music: The PA system for the Open Mic Stage, and the
DJ for the Saturday dance, require deposits.
- Much more: From memorabilia, to pens and registration
systems, we have many up-front costs we need to cover.
What if there are funds left over? All unused funds are going
to be donated to the Fisher Park Community Association for use in
the Fisher Park community that served us so well for 40 years.
