Marketing and Communications
Getting the word out to our alumni is the key to making this a successful
reunion. From press releases to local media, the website to posters
on telephone poles, we need to communicate with our alumni and make
sure as many Fisher grads as possible know about this reunion.
We could use your contacts and connections!
Are you involved in the media, or have expertise in communications?
We could use any contacts that you have to help get the word out.
We are not just focused on the Ottawa area - to date we have alumni
from Brussels to Bali who are coming to the reunion, so if you have
a contact, please let us know.

Are you the person we are looking for? We are looking for someone
to head the Marketing and Communications committee, and take charge
of getting the word out for the reunion. If you are this person, or
if you are willing to help, contact us today.
What do we need communicated?: 100% of the funds raised will go
towards paying for the events, logistics, and up-front costs required
in the planning of the reunion. This is a not-for-profit event run
by alumni and volunteers. Our costs include:
- Local Ottawa Media: A strong communication in the local
Ottawa media will help us obtain sponsors, ensure success, and
involve the community in celebrating with us.
- National and International media: Our alumni are diaspora,
we have alumni on every continent and in many of the countries
in the world, as well as spread out across Canada. We need to
let them all know about the reunion
- Communications: We expect the questions to start rolling
in, as well as offers of service and donations. Having a central
spot for communications is key.
